What is it?
MidMoon is a community outreach project with the purpose of
fostering a sense of family and unity among area Pagans.
How does it work?
When big events in our lives happen it is nice to have the love and
care of our community. MidMoon honors those life events with care
baskets filled with hand made goods and helpful information.
A new mother may be given a handcrafted receiving blanket, information
on nursing and pagan parenting, a baby blessing kit, an herbal sachet
used to prevent colic, and/or any number of other wonderful gifts.
Those experiencing the loss of a loved one may receive info on grief and
loss, healing crystals, healing candles, dinner for the family, and
various other inspirational and heartfelt items and information for this
difficult time.
Who is it for?
MidMoon works for the entire Pagan community. If you are pregnant or
a new parent, experiencing an illness, or grieving for a loved one, then
MidMoon would like to show you the love of your fellow Pagans. We will
also happily provide small tokens of congratulations for Handfastings
and the purchase of a new home.
How can I help?
Are you crafty? Do you crochet a mean afghan? Maybe you make oils or
work with herbs? Have a printer? Then we need you. There are many ways
to help out your community through MidMoon. Not only will you be doing
something wonderful for someone else, you will make wonderful friends in
the process.
Who do I contact?
Please contact Northeast Council of W.I.C.C.A. Community Affairs
Director Lisa Hutchings at
